Press Release Body = The World Cup has highlighted an unsavoury part of the game
that seems to be affecting many of the world's top players.

"Has diving or 'simulation' got out of control?" says Neil Travers of Junior Soccer
Coach.com a membership website dedicated to helping soccer coaches around the world.

Even Thierry Henry appeared to 'go down' very easily holding his face in the game
against Spain when it was clearly an arm across his chest.

The resulting free kick led to a French goal much to the disdain of the Spanish team.

At Junior Soccer Coach we constantly strive to promote fair play and sportsmanship
not only with the players, but with the parents and coaches as well.

We decided to survey our members about the diving and simulation seen during the
World Cup and all responses unanimously agreed that FIFA should take action now to
stamp it out quickly.

"We learned that this topic is close to the hearts of all our members on the site
and the surprising response was some of the extreme measures suggested to combat
simulation including awarding the game to the opposing team; it certainly fuelled a
healthy debate inside the members discussion forum!"

Neil Travers feels that his experience as a coach, and all of the coaches on the
site, can help both new and seasoned coaches develop their own skills as well of
those of the children they coach.
